The game starts and resets automatically, when the exclamation mark appears, you need to shoot your opponent quicker than they can shoot you. 

Press F to have Jaam, the cowboy-looking fennec shoot 
Press J to have Victoria, the demon/oppossum/rattlesnake shoot Victoria belongs to Snek, thanks for letting me use your oc lol <3
